2. Goods when received, are documented in the MG Kargo inventory database. They are then uploaded to the MG kargo telegram inventory channel (https://t.me/+O92AvLGQN8A3M2Q0). Finally, an acknowledgment slip is issued to the delivery person. Customers sending goods to the company will have to notify before delivery, as well as ensure that their goods are properly documented. This notification can be done through any MG Kargo staff/officials. Lost undocumented goods would be very difficult to track.

3. After documentation, the goods are processed, recorded into the outgoing package list (manifest), and then assigned a tracking number. This tracking number is what a customer needs to track their packages. Each package in the mg cargo manifest has a tracking number. It is very important to add tracking number before the goods leave MG kargo Istanbul office. This is the only way to know about shipment cost before departure, as well as a guide in decision-making. NOTE: Big goods having less weight (volume goods) are more expensive to ship by air than heavy goods with moderate size. For more on this, visit (www.youtube.com/ahmad)

4. How can the tracking number be found? It can be obtained from any of the MG Kargo officials.

5. How do I use the tracking to get information about my goods? The process is easy, simply visit (https://www.mgkargo.org/customerSearch.php), paste in the search bar, and click submit.

6. To check status of shipment using the tracking number, as well as other information about a particular package of interest, visit www.mgkargo.org, or request to join our "Swiftmoh Media" information group from • Kabir Ibrahim (+905312701720; +2348068964854; kabir@mgkargo.org).

COMPANY POLICIES

MG Kargo is established to facilitate the delivery of goods from point of production to the consumer. The satisfaction of customers is a priority. To better understand the company policies, it is important for customers to read and understand the following:

1. MG Kargo forwards goods exactly as received, no alteration happens, unless with the consent of the customer/ their representatives or for safety examination purposes. Therefore, customers are advised to ensure that, the goods sent to MG kargo have arrived unaltered. This can be done by contacting any of the MG cargo officials/agents.

2. Flammable fluids (oils, perfumes, etc.), explosives (e.g. battery), or consumables (e.g. food or medicine) are not accepted by air. Such goods attract penalties or extra charges. Some of these penalties are as follows: -

(a) Liquid ….200 to 500usd
(b) Fake branded (e.g. Puma, Nike, Adidas)… 3000 to 5000usd
(c) Drugs….10,000 to 20,000usd and legal action Moreover, goods that belong to the contraband import/export list (Nigerian/Turkish) shall be at the owner's risk.

3. Lost goods without Fatura (Invoice) especially the ones unofficially received, shall be at the owner's cost. For lost goods that have Fatura, the compensation may not be cash. This mostly comes via shipping discounts. [Before shipping out of Turkey. . .you must declare ownership of the goods. The Fatura is a document that will enable Turkish customs authorities to clear out such goods for shipping. Therefore, the name of the Kargo company must exist in the declaration document (Fatura)].

4. MG Kargo provides the best possible packaging tools and utilities. However, fragile goods may sometimes not survive the shipment to arrive healthy. The goods in most cases would be loaded and offloaded several times. As such, full-time safety of fragile goods is not guaranteed. For this reason, the customer needs to sponsor the proper protection of his/her fragile goods.

5. MG Kargo uses the best airline/sea shipping services for its delivery. However, short landings/delayed departure/ late arrival of goods may occur occasionally due to human limitations/technical failures, or other inevitable factors. Customers are advised to be patient in such situations.

6. There are two types of weight measurements for a given package to be exported. The first is Volume weight, and the second is Normal weight. In a case where a package has more volume than normal weight, the charges are going to reflect as volume charges, instead of the normal weight (contact any MG cargo official, or agent to learn more).

7. Goods are released only when a payment is confirmed. However, if a customer seeks favor from the company (e.g. receive their goods before payment), there is the need to write a letter, to head office (Istanbul) through the corresponding branch manager (Kano/Abuja/Lagos).

MG KARGO COMPENSATION SCHEME

The compensation is fully paid for affected goods that have a valid Fatura (invoice), and partially paid for non-Fatura goods; this depends on the decision made by the MG Cargo compensation committee. The compensation payment is mostly indirect (see table below), and a priority is given to goods having a valid Fatura. For both Fatura and non-Fatura goods, some significant conditions that needed to be met are as follows: -

1) There need to be an evidence of acknowledgement implying that the goods have arrived at MG kargo, and the customer is dealing directly with the company, not via an agent. The evidence can be in form of media (e.g. picture, voice note, and chat history), physical communication with an MG Kargo official, a shipment tracking number, an inventory tracking number, or a media file from the MG Kargo Telegram inventory page (https://t.me/+O92AvLGQN8A3M2Q0).

2) After an intensive investigation, the goods are nowhere to be found.

3) For agents, the safety of their goods in Istanbul is in their hands. However, when there is evidence that the goods are loaded to the truck, the compensation committee will decide on how to solve the problem.

4) For goods affected by disaster (e.g. fire outbreak), the compensation scheme will consider Fatura goods as a priority.
